Why we built this

Becoming a U.S. citizen is one of the most meaningful milestones in an immigrant’s life. But for many people — because of language barriers, unfamiliarity with American history, or simply not knowing where to start — it can also feel overwhelming.

We built CivicsPro because we understand that journey personally. As immigrants ourselves, we know what it feels like to study in a language that isn’t your first, to help family members prepare, and to want a resource that treats you with dignity — not as a transaction.

So we built the tool we wished had existed when we needed it. An app that works in English, Spanish, and Arabic. Physical flashcards you can hold and share with your family around the kitchen table. And a pathway to connect people with real professionals if they need more help than studying can provide.
